9 Steps to a cleaner carpet...

Carpet cleaning isn't just a come in,  zig-zag over the carpet a few times with an S-wand,  grab the check and run kind of thing.  Well, at least it shouldn't be.  At DePax, we follow specific procedures for cleaning your carpet:

1. A detailed "fact-finding mission" so that we may observe traffic patterns, view your high-traffic areas, and communicate any stains or other concerns. From that, we will create a customized cleaning plan for your carpet.
2. A thorough vacuum to pick up any loose soil particles.
3. We then prespray your carpet with our green seal stamped, and EPA approved solution, paying close attention to the high-traffic areas and stains we noted from our fact-finding.
4. We rake your carpet to ensure the prespray gets as deep into the fibers as possible.
5. Extract/steam clean using the ROTOVAC Powerwand. We don't use any chemicals during the extraction. We only use hot water heated to 200^o and allow the Rotovac to work it's magic.  No matter what anyone else says, this is the safest, most effective way to clean your carpet.
6. We then check your problem spot areas to make sure they were extracted. If not, we will use despotters specific to the type of spot/stain you have - if purchased (Many spots, however, will come out during the hot water extraction step with the ROTOVAC).
7. Spray on the well-known Dupont Advanced protectant (if purchased).
8. We rake/groom your carpet one final time (this not only makes your carpet look better, but it also aids in drying).
9. Final walk-through with you.

If any furniture is moved, we will place plastic tabs under the legs before it is replaced to prevent the furniture and damp carpet from interacting.
